HOWTO USE
1) Surface treatment
In order to obtain the bestbonding effect, before applying should clean and dry surface of base. In mostcases, HM - 2577 and clean base are good cohesiveness, if need to improve thecohesiveness, recommend to apply with my company related primer liquid.
2) Operation method
HM - 2577 can be spraying,dip-coating, with brush or flow coating. For a small amount of spraying, canuse manual spray gun, dilute the product to 40%with toluene or xylene. Used forautomatic spraying system, usable toluene or xylene diluted to 50% curingquantity. After diluted products should be finished application within 7 days.Dip-coating once thickness is commonly 0.1-0.2 mm. After diluting products withtoluene or xylene, the coating will become thinner; suggest dip-coating speedis about 30 cm/min.

Curing
HM - 2577 can be curing atroom temperature, also can be curing at 75 ℃ - 100 ℃ during heating.Under previous circumstances, use our catalyst can improve the curing rate.
1) Room temperature curing -without catalyst
HM-2577 can react under room temperature with vapor,tack-free time will be 20-25 mins for thickness 0.1mm coating, completelycuring need 72 h. Advise curing at 23 ℃ and at least50% relative humidity, improve the temperature and humidity can shorten curingtime.
2) Thermal curing - withoutcatalyst
After heating tack-free time can be reduced. Should leave enoughtime to let solvent volatilize before air flow and temperature raised.Generally 0.1 mm thickness coating need at room temperature volatile 10 min,and curing at 80℃ for 10 min. Ifhave some bubble or defects such as fish eye before temperature rising, shouldleave some time to let solvent volatilize.
Because HM - 2577 contactwith vapor in the air, it will be curing, so thicker coating take longer timefor curing. If before completely curing, coating exposed to low temperature,cracking phenomena may occur. For low temperature experiment or transportingunder cold circumstance, Circuit board coated with HM-2577, should be curing at80 ℃ for 10 min, and at room temperature keep static atleast six hours. If curing at 80 ℃ for long time,time for room temperature storage to prevent any crack in cold circumstanceshould be reduced. If circuit board coated with HM - 2577 and not curing at 80 ℃ for 10 min, before shipped to cold circumstance,should be stored at room temperature for 48 h.
3) Curing - add catalyst
For thick film (dry film thickness more than 0.25 mm), addour catalyst can reduce tack-free time. For example, in 23 ℃ and 60% relative humidity, without catalyst, dryfilm thickness of 0.4 mm, its tack free time will be about 70 min; Add ourcatalyst, under same temperature and humidity, tack-free time reduce to 40 min.
Use our catalyst can improve anti solvent properties, but willreduce the shelf life, mixture of HM - 2577 and our catalyst at roomtemperature, shelf life is about 1 week. Suggested ratio for HM-2577 andcatalyst is 100:0.5 .Also needs to leave enough time to let solvent volatilizewhen the temperature is rising.
Applicableperiod, shelf life and validity
In order to extend the shelf life, during the operationprocess must be isolated from water vapor. Using dip-coating way, if don’t usetemporary should seal it; If don’t use during a few days, should add a layer oftoluene or xylene on top, in case of water vapor sneak into the materials; Ifsurface crust, should get rid of it before applying.
Please ensure that unfilled HM - 2577 coating liquid bottleshould fill with dry CO2 or N2 to protect. With reactive alcohol solvent fordilution or dilution agent mixed with water will reduce storage period ofcoated liquid.
Below 25 ℃ and stayunopened, has 36 months of shelf life since the date of production.
If add our catalyst, under 23 ℃ the applicable period is about 5 to 8 days.
